He introduced key innovations like home-based and telehealth care for seniors and heads the Moul Mouj Health Centre. He is the President of GOSI (North India Chapter) and has held prominent positions, including Head of Geriatrics at JLNM Hospital and Nodal Officer for Geriatric Medicine in Kashmir. He is also a member of various national and international geriatric organisations and continues to raise public awareness through his role as Health Editor at Greater Kashmir.

Dr. Shakeel-ur-Rehman, a visionary medical entrepreneur, is the founder and chairman of Kashmir Clinics Group, a chain of multi-specialty daycare centers across South and Central Kashmir. After beginning his career as a medical officer in Kashmir's Health Department and the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, he quickly realized his passion lay in healthcare entrepreneurship. He rose to prominence as Director and Partner of New City Hospital, playing a pivotal role in its growth. In 2016, he pioneered the concept of multi-operating daycare centers in Kashmir, and his entrepreneurial prowess has earned him accolades, including Dainik Jagran’s “The Saviours” title and recognition as one of India Today's "Business Wizards of North India."
