The first dedicated academic and research centre in Jammu and Kashmir focused on the holistic well-being of the elderly. It serves as a hub for research, education and policy planning on ageing, uniting experts across disciplines to address the medical, social, legal and psychological needs of seniors.

Under CISA, this innovative initiative bridges the emotional and social gap between generations by promoting intergenerational bonding, dialogue, empathy, and connection through school and college programs, storytelling and shared activities that promote mutual respect and intergenerational learning.
